Scoop Du Jour: PFW Dinner Party Hiss and Post-Shows Bliss

Straight from the freshly cleared dinner tables of PFW (where the bread always goes untouched) ... The Top 5 Fashion Whispers of the moment. 1. The Inside Chapter of The Hiss Squad insists that Marc is NOT going to Dior. LV SS12 was NOT an "audition" any more than the Kate Moss' final exit in her sugar sweet look, a redemption. 2. Speaking of final exits, the casting of the Givenchy SS12 ad has no suspense now but maybe we can dream of a 2 girl moment. (Hah! ). 3. Balenciaga, however seems to be set to keep it fresh and pristine. And that's the added value therein. 4. Come to think of it, the LV SS12 is now off the table too. Poor newbies. And finally, 5. ...because this business always loves backstage turmoil, which power stylist was overheard bemoaning her client's tragic indecisiveness now that the house's key design lieutenant has struck out on his own. The kids say, literally three nights before the show, there was no collection until someone dug up those vintage Helmut Lang CD-roms. Ah Helmut!...if only there were royalties.

Aha

2. Must be Gisele and Mariacarla
4. Raquel again?
5. Balenciaga. Marie Amélie-Sauve is the stylist andcomplainant, Alistair Carr (now at Pringle) the former key design lieutenant.

givenchy

gisele alone. she no do groups.

5 sounds like Balmain to me.

5 sounds like Balmain to me. I hear Helmut Lang I think Melanie Ward.

But with Balmain you have no

But with Balmain you have no "key design lieutenant." Decarnin was the creative director, and as far as I know, no one from his former design team has struck out on their own. Besides, there was far more Helmut Lang in this season's Balenciaga collection than there was in Balmain, and failure from Ghesquiere is far more scandalous than it would be from the random at the helm of Balmain, no? Marie Amelie-Sauve was also implicated in the Roitfeld blacklisting scandal, so it isn't hard to see her as the complainant, is it? Clearly she has a fair amount of clout within the brand.

Bet it's Givenchy. "Design

Bet it's Givenchy. "Design lieutenant" just left. Wait, does Givenchy even have a stylist. Hush your mouth about Balenciaga. It was incredible . Plus Marie Amelie would never !
