Laying TI out at the new work/space to figure out...what next?
Well TI has hit its six month mark and I want to thank everyone for their support, attention and kind words. TI was started as a means of free creative expression, not only for myself but for all these talented new graphic designers, writers, DJ's , artists, photographers, fashion designers and gallery curators I was starting to meet. Of course there are some strong views and strong images posted here and I expect to get a fair degree of backlash . Which is fine (and a little bit fun, if truth be told).
But those people posting the more negative comments have probably wondered why it never surfaced on the page. It's because I think its not fair to read, chop and diss someone who puts their work out there by responding in ANONYMOUS fashion. We really look forward to posting all that dissent we get to images of beautiful girls and boys with no clothes on, to the errant gossip output by the Hiss Squad, to the songs we might love and you might hate but please, please, please..make the debate really lively and put your name behind your response. Remember now, a read is not a read if you say it with your hand over your face.

about that
well i couldnt agree more with u guys when u say u wont publish some comments when they're mean and when people doesnt write their names !!
i think it's quite normal in a way but well that's democracy too lettin people express their views without givin their names or personnal information
maybe they're involved in fashion ! so they cant dare to provoc and then loose some contracts for example .....
but that's a choice

Well mean comments are not a
Well mean comments are not a problem. Mean comments are funny...in a way. Its two things. When things cross-over to personal attacks or make huge allegations against people's reputations , those posts won't run. It's really at the end of the day one of those personal decisions. I'm not wired to get into catfights. Takes too much time out of a hectic day.
TI is kind of like an open party, you invite your friends and people of a like mind. But if someone comes to your party with the sole agenda of being nasty and vindictive...then you dis-invite them.
There's been some really great discussions here..about photography..about the question of black models where there were disagreements with what I posted and I thought this was constructive, because those posters really stood up and worked out their position.
But bitchy graffitti with no accountability...again.. I don't know how to give that energy.
Its another reason why I admire the fashionspot so much. It lets people express themselves...but with some degree of accountability. Props for that!
