ADDISON GILL IS WALKING

V/Supreme 2008 Winner Addison Gill spotted at the Supreme office refining her walk which means despite her absence from the show package she IS doing shows. Its waaay early in the season but frankly the New York market has not seen models of this quality in years with everything from 90's icons to latter day cool girls to a really beautiful new crop of girls hitting the market. Here's hoping this city will take back the "New Faces" throne from Milan and Paris.

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN....AND NASTY QUEENS

.........people need to recognize, embrace and be in awe of " the power of supreme". they are light years ahead of the game.
your bitterness only shows your weakness and insecurities at your with your own game.
....i have a feeling they will only become more powerful and innovative....

WOW !!!!

.........AMAZING GIRL. SHE IS A SUPER STAR IN THE MAKING. SHE HAS IT ALL. LIKE A YOUNG CHRISTY TURLINGTON...
WE NEED MORE ADDISON GILL`S IN THIS BUISNESS.

..and the pre-fashion week

..and the pre-fashion week hype machine rolls into place... first Isa..now addison...I'm excited to see how they go... are Women/Supreme the only ones making any effort this season??... i mean from the show packages to creating interest.. what has happened to IMG..? their show package is dead boring Iin my opinion, and most of their new girls look uber commercial safe and boring also..soo disappointed!

I'm also hoping for Diandra.such a great story ... but I'm not holding my breath either... I don't have THAT much faith ..but I still hold out hope... give us someone interesting!!.....

Why are you always pushing Women/Supreme girls?

I know it's arguably the strongest network at the moment, but they seem to get twice the attention of everyone else (both here and on MDC). You're free to write about whatever you like, of course, it's just something I've noticed and find a tad peculiar... And I'm not affiliated with an agency or otherwise, so I don't think I'm biased. ;)

Addison's a cutie pie, though I personally prefer a stronger look.

Because Supreme is...

the most innovative agency out there. And Women's not so bad either.

Your answer is in your question...

but you cannot imagine the irony of your post right this minute.

Feel free to enlighten me then?

I don't think Women & Supreme have TWICE the power of other top agencies. Their girls aren't twice as successful nor twice as interesting as those of IMG, Next, whatever. So I'm curious why you seem to think so?

If someone at Supreme has nice style, they get a feature.
If a new Supreme girl makes a totally mediocre editorial debut, she gets a feature.
Etc.

This doesn't happen to their equivalents at other agencies, which is why I'm asking.

From Anne Christensen at the NY Times Magazine

"I know the fashion shows are just around the corner when I start receiving model cards in the mail. They come as a sort of “for your consideration” for the new round of magazine stories that are always shot directly after the shows. For a while now, the model companies (Elite, DNA, IMG, Ford) have vamped up the images, trying to make them more arty and less commercial. Out of them all, Supreme Model Management has always been the most creative. When the purple box arrived, I tore into it immediately as I assumed that it contained chocolates. But after unthreading the flaps, I was greeted by a confection of another kind altogether. While it’s a little difficult to actually see the girls in the photographs, the overall effect is mysterious and beautiful — qualities you often look for in a model."

Please free to argue with Ms Christensen's tastes in the comments page of The Moment blog.

I dont know

It does seem that if you dont pay to play or kiss ass , you are irrelevant on both sites. But I am sure to be attacked up in here now. But its word among the lesser agencies who beg for the attention or pay for it.

I won't attack you...

Feel free to say whatever you think. I respect your right to your point of view. In fact this is my suggestion. Start a blog and celebrate the models you find inspiring. Its not such a hard thing to do. I've never pretended my point of view was vital or important or gospel. Its just my point of view. No more no less. And I assure you nobody can pay me to write what I don't feel. I'd sooner quit NY and move to Miami and become a stripper . I wish you the best in launching your future blog which I imagine will be the perfect expression of YOUR tastes. In the meantime I'll be in the mirror practicing dancing on my head.
