Ladies and gentlemen, it is that time of year again when fashion-heads worldwide cluster around in dive bars and fashion school dorms trying to project and predict where Miuccia Prada will go next. Last season the Hiss Squad did an admirable job divining what was going to wind down that FW 08 runway. This season we invite the TI nation to forward their best speculation of what they suspect they'll see on that Spring/Summer runway. More strange things with stockings? More girls wandering the catwalk with strategic pieces of their waudrobe missing? Suspense is high and commitment total as we all conspire to project psychic waves through those dense concrete walls. TI will post his own "witch-insights" Saturday night.

Well those dense concrete wall have grown even denser this season...but the Prada brand has always had a certain set of variables that repeat themselves season after season..often in the form of conflict and contardiction...

Spring for most designers usually means an automatic switch to "color" and "prints" ...and that switch has indeed shown up at Prada for Spring 2003-2007
Also in recent seasons the Men's collections have served as a kind of "lab" for ideas that resurface in the subsequent women's collections
The easiest to extrapolate from the men's SS09 would be the hanging straps that left the coats and blousons dangling from the shoulders of the male models
So last night a few of my design friends and I had too much to drink and are suspecting for Prada SS09..

Its very much like when you go to a fortune teller...she'll keep it general enough where at least one thing she says has the vague ring of truth...but on the real..these were the guesses that got tossed into the ring
