Sleek, Shiny, Aerodynamic People All Angular And Machine-Like,

Since last week Friday I've been combing through girls for the Rad Hourani intent on practicing what I've been preaching . That is namely to think beyond the predictable, move past a calvacade of pre-approved "names" and open my eyes .
"Just let a great girl walk and respond" I've been chanting for 6 days now .At some point some-one killed individuality and differentiation on the runways of The Zeroes in favor of blankness and neutrality . But what if the new direction (which is necessarily a reaction to what came before) is to unreel a series of deeply unique, very individualized boys and girls.
To keep the tedium of casting interesting I usually make up a kind of movie in my mind to help sharpen the filter. Last season I played Aphex Twins "Logon Rock Witch" all session long in my head as my kind of dream soundtrack that all the witch girls were gliding to. This season its Grace Jones' "Walking In The Rain" to which I'm dreaming of an army of sleek, shiny, aerodynamic people all angular and machine-like, like cyborgs but deeply deeply individualized. Boys and girls...the same feeling with different complexions...shifting features....That's my fiction for Rad SS09.

Hey wayne... as an imagist

Hey wayne... as an imagist groupie hehe... i'm very excited to hear what your new project is and to see the cast for Rad... but as they say in Italy "ciascuno il suo"...and I think you have a definable aesthetic of your very own (to which i often think what?? like the girl above^^?!).... and i admire that.. the bravery to say "this is what i like" ...everyone else can go ....!!

btw have you seen Sharan at IMg? I think that is a girl you would love..... now she i like...their 4 pack for Dazed can all go away ..(apart from Cato...love cato).. but this Sharan...I like...

Taste is a dictatorship.
