Dakis Joannou's "dazzling" Ivana Porfiri/Jeff Koon's designed yacht, as profiled in September's US Vogue opened TI's eye to the radical design innovations unfolding in this field. The latest oh-no-he-didn't display is no courtesy of Andrey Melnichenko who just got himself a spanking new boat designed by Mr Phillipe Starck. Clocking in at 390 feet, at a cost of $300 mill, this monster (for there are those who find it Frankenstenian). Titled the "A" , this beast with its sexy ox-bow brow shows you that 36 year old Russian billionaires don't sweat the re-sale values. I love particular and peculiar. Don't you?
