M/M (Paris): Tree Of Signs: A Collaboration with Gabriela FrioriksdottirM/M (Paris): Tree Of Signs: A Collaboration with Gabriela Frioriksdottir

Mathias Augustyniak and Micheal Amzalag, the masterminds behind M/M (Paris) just logged another breakthrough in the world of image making with the launch of "Tree of Signs": a 5 metre tall bronze sculpture crafted in collaboration with artist Gabriela Frioriksdottir. The "Tree of Signs" looms as the first man made structure in Urridaholt Iceland. If you're staring to hear a Bjork track in your head that might be because the tree is based on the same font M/M used for the cover of her "Medulla" album as well as the signage used by the designers for their Venice Biennal collaboration with Frioriksdottir. Drawings by the artist will form bas reliefs that will hang from the tree like fruit or seeds. Dazzling conceptualization, no?

Taste is a dictatorship.
