Well there's been some lively debates about what some of my contacts in the modeling industry consider to be model bashing on my part. But I'm not trying to beat down the current crop of girls, I'm just praying for a girl to come along who is passionate about her job, excited by the clothes and photography and commited to giving a memorable moment. Case study? Shalom Harlow working a great great fashion moment, the SS 99 McQueen. Look at all the drama she gets into when the robot arms come at her. Modeling is a VERB afterall!
Superbness

But its beyond true when said that McQueen always brings out the performance in his shows, and more importantly his models.
From the live chess board, to the expressive dance, to this, it truely becomes iconic.
I remember the chills that ran up and down my spine viewing the 'holographic' Kate Moss at McQueen Fall 2006 Ready-to-Wear ....Perfection.

Thank you for such a compelling piece of 'case and point' at a time where the world we live in seems to be so quickly approaching an awareness of our need for such things. There was a brief moment prior to the period we are now entering where everyone gave an opinion of the past or what was missing in the present. I think this posting simplified all of the drab fab discussions to a simple fact, and that is what it is we are missing in the current generation of models... the time is here and seems to be now.. from what I've heard of the campaign confirmations, it's the girls who were capable of such performances in times now past who are landing the biggest brands of the season..bang on wayne.. bang on..
