Well it feels like the good old days no? A new Madonna LP ...a new Vanity Fair cover. All very run-now-to-your-newstand for the following reasons:
1. A Meisel /Madonna reunion. Delicious. From the cover of "Like A Virgin" to this. How far these two have traveled . But who let go of their control issues first?
2. TI wonders what an "intense prep session" might involve for a journalist summoned to interview La Madonna.
3. Hard Candy . I am Because We Are, Filth and Wisdom. It's a nice three -fer in the marketing sweepstakes, no? Especially since the film (F&W) is to be made available on itunes.
Other generations had their Garbo and Dietrech , the Downtown Kids of the 80's have Madonna to contend with for the rest of their natural lives. Ambition is eternal!

Maybe Steven Klein is easier to work with cuz he lets Madonna run the show but Meisel pics look way better because you can see his superperfectionism here.
