The piece is written in that personal, stream-of-consciousness style that Tom Wolfe pioneered back in the 60's as New Journalism but it suits the subject quite well. It goes a long way in explaining the source of Richardson's taste-point as well as his efforts to make both a franchise as well as a historic time capsule via his work. The man has spawned many an imitator as well as detractor but I came out the profile with the oddest of things...actual respect for uhmmm...T-Bone. He's totally crazy like the proverbial fox.
